V is for Veterinarian – #AtoZChallenge

Greetings and salutations! Please enjoy this selection from A Brief History of Space Cats, and the Care and Feeding Thereof by Sarah Ever.  Written by the main character from Space Cats from Space, these entries form a resource for feline companions to help them ease the transition from cat “owner” to their true role as caretaker and, possibly, human slave. Please enjoy!

Many human animal care physicians are aware of the unique conversational skills of cats, and other animals. You may know a vet who seems to be able to talk to your feline companion, and to animals in general.

While not guaranteed, that veterinarian has very likely been dosed with feline nanites.

Again with the nanites. Never fear, I shall resist renaming this tome “Nip-based Nanites and Their Hosts”.

But let’s get back to the point. From what I understand, many veterinarians enter the profession aready with ,km65ttk6 (please excuse the cat print) an armory of nanites inside them. Whether they have received them from their own feline companion, or from those that they have provided assistance to in the past, varies widely. It tends, as these things do, to depend upon the vet themselves.

The advantages hardly need to be stated. When felines can make their specific pain known and don’t have to rely on observant hosts, their chances of recovery from things their nanites are not equipped to heal (for whatever reason) skyrocket.

And these veterinarians very likely experience species crossover, as I have had. Being able to understand more than just the felines that surround them help them excel wherever they are needed.

Beynd that, there is the matter of the other service a veterinarian may provide to felines.

Rebooting. I believe we have already covered that.

Oddly enough, felines keep the knowledge of veterinarians who are awoken to the true nature of cats a closely guarded secret, even among each other. So if you are on speaking terms with your feline crew, chances are that if they don’t have personal experience with such a creature, they won’t be able to confirm their existence.
