HaM: Day 2

I wrote 204 fiction words yesterday only because reporting only 40 was just not something I could handle. (The daily total with blog words was 393.)

I let myself get distracted with Sky Factory 3 (which takes absolute ages to load on my computer, which makes me think that when I finally get some automation going it will be prohibitive to play). Then I watched the film I wanted to see (San Andreas), and the next thing I knew, it was 1 a.m.

Other than yesterday’s snow squall that ended with shining blue skies, it was an average kind of day. Sort of like today intends to be, really.

Today’s post is brought to you by…

The letter O, for office, where I sit on a Saturday when I don’t usually work because of…

The letter S, for salary, which is why I am at the office on a weekend, and…

The number 35, which was the number of fiction words I wrote yesterday (a grand total of 248 for the day), even though I had a really great idea to finish the book.

Beware the thought, “Oh, that’s so great! I’ll definitely remember that!”

Because you won’t. YOU WON’T.

Notebooks. Like I don’t carry several with me every day? And at least three pens? There’s no excuse.
